Teacher Reviews
"As a new user to Phyphox, I found the app intuitive and easy to use. The Wiki pages were extremely helpful in understanding the capabilities of each of the sensors. I would definitely use this in my Science 10 classroom" - Kelsey Jefferson, Secondary School Science Teacher "My students love Phyphox. They feel like they are scientists who are exploring the world through technology. As a teacher, I found the app intuitive and loved seeing the excitement in my students eyes from all of the possibilities at their fingertips" - Hannah Rudson, Elementary School Teacher |

Reviews from the Literature
"Phyphox turns students’ smartphones into data acquisition devices, allowing all students to perform authentic scientific investigations" (Milner-Bolotin & Milner, 2023, p. 194)
"students may have used their smartphones for the first time for constructive teaching purposes (not for online games and networking)" (Klousloglou et al., 2022, p. 17)
"Now students can at all times be experimenting, doing experiments for homework, and planning their own research investigations" (Carroll & Lincoln, 2020, p. 607)
"Automated data analysis within the app allows students to focus on different aspects of a physics experiment and allows one to do some experiments with students who do not yet have the required mathematical skills" (Staacks et al., 2018, p. 5)
"a teacher can customize smartphone assisted experiments to the state of knowledge and the educational objectives in the specific learning arrangement" (Staacks et al., 2018, p. 5)
"Phyphox application which makes a smartphone act as a mobile laboratory" (Coramik & Ürek, 2021, p. 2)
"Mobile application Phyphox contains ready-made methodological solutions for practical work and is an open platform with the ability to add your own techniques, record sensor data and the results of data processing" (Slipukhina et al., 2021, p. 14)
While Phyphox was originally designed to support physics learning, it can be expanded to other science fields, such as chemistry, biology, earth science, and mathematics (Stampher et al., 2020)
The app has undergone significant testing in terms of its capabilities and modes of implementation with various student populations (from middle school to post-secondary science classrooms), offering multiple ways to engage students (Goertz, 2020)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Super application, very detailed and in the language of my tiny country in the EU, detailed, clear and simple and at the same time extremely sophisticated and with incredible details of explanation units and more, and moreover absolutely without ads - Kikuša, 01/30/2021 (Apple Store)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This app has functionality for every sensor in my phone... even ones I didn’t know I had! I especially enjoy the Everyday Life applications like the “Applause Meter”. All in all, this app is for those who cannot access scientific sensors for their projects by unlocking the various sensors in one’s phone. Great job. - shcmsn , 04/18/2020 (Apple Store)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Incredible app. I would give it six stars it if were possible. It's like a mini laboratory inside your phone ! I use it everyday for my little experiments, and the ability to export data is amazing ! Thank you very much for creating this app :) - Benjamin Damard 10/19/2021 (Google Play)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - It's fun but you might learn something by accident. - Kevin Dowd 10/01/2022 (Google Play)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Must have for any science enthusiast. Gave my nephews to play with. They didn't touch any game for three straight days. It seams science is far more addictive. Nikola Kostic 12/02/2020 (Google Play)
